The basic structure
A typical Rust coinflip begins when one participant creates an entry with skins or site balance. A second participant joins with value inside an allowed range. The game assigns a side to each participant, selects a result and settles the combined value according to the published rules.
The first comparison question is whether the winner probability is genuinely equal or weighted by the two entry values. Both structures exist in player-versus-player gambling products generally, so the exact site rule matters.
Nominal odds versus economic return
If two players each risk ten balance units and one has a 50% chance to receive twenty, the gross expected return is ten units before costs. If the site keeps a percentage, credits the winner less than twenty, or values deposited and withdrawn items differently, the net expected return falls below the amount risked.
That cost may be shown as a fee, rake or commission. It may also appear indirectly through the site’s pricing system. Record both the winner-selection probability and the settlement value.
Entry-value tolerance
Sites often permit the second entry to be slightly higher or lower than the first. The rules should explain the acceptable range and whether a value difference changes the odds. If both sides retain equal odds despite unequal values, one participant may be risking more for the same win probability.
Check the displayed values item by item rather than relying only on a rounded entry total.
What a verifier should show
A verifier or round record should identify the participants, their assigned sides, the pre-round commitment, client input or public entropy, nonce and final calculation. It should be possible to connect that result to the winner shown in the history.
Provably fair evidence addresses result integrity under the published method. It does not prove that the displayed item values equal an external cash price or that a withdrawal will be processed.
